This one, one of the brothers is considered an outlaw for what he had done and now much live in the woods until the king decides otherwise. But the heroines bad attitude and horrible manners are a total turn-off. Deveraux is a better writer than this book demonstrates and she added a few interesting moments that could have really benefited from extensive treatment: When the priest was sure she could play, gelvet sent for a Franciscan monk who taught her how to write music, to record the songs, ballads, masses, litanies, whatever she could set to music.
