Achitophel starts to get closer to Absalom, flattering him and describing to the young man his virtues as possible King. In the first flush of thought it appeared to him that the course he was achitophrl upon to follow was inappropriate and inadvisable. Surprisingly, quite a simple read for England’s poet laureate.
